XBmc does not play short MP3 files.

By jane | January 6, 2009

  • Hi there.
I'm using rev12881 of XBMC and I noticed that the system does not play wav/mp3 files all the way to the end if the file is short. In my case the MP3 was 0,729 short. the end of the file does not play. Cache for audio LAN is 256kb.
    :)

  • It is known that extremely short files (i.e. less than the length of the crossfading computation time IIRC) do not play all the way to the end if crossfading is enabled - not sure if this influences things at your end.

Posting an example track for others to confirm might be nice.

    Cheers,
    Jonathan

Hi there. I'll send the file via PM, don't know any other methods. :)
I did not have any crossfading enabled.
