Okay, Nick S, just how DID you explain the Sun's mysterious absence at night? :)We need to ask genuine questions like "Why the sun does not rise in the night when it is really needed"?yea it gets quite tiring cause if they REALLY wanted to know they would pay more attention in school or look it up..Probably they want to catch the person who gives two different answers for the same question.why the sky is blue? uhhh yeah...ppl ask that question like everyday. I appreciate why you wonder but you can search the same questions and get the right answers. Remember you can DISCOVER from other answers on this site as well.

A few weeks ago someone on there wondered why, if the moon is sometimes visible by day, you never see the sun at night.
