I remember reading that you can upgrade the 70k reward ticket...i asked the agent at SE desk..
I was told no way...is this possible and if so is their a rule i can quote.
Thanksahhhh.
An SE agent that know's what to do...and very pleasant.....a diamond in the rough!
Thanks Empress.....
Why do you have to call SE 2 or 3 times to get the answer you want....
If only the lotto was like that.!I'm not real sure, I had the impression it was open to everyone, a word of advice though.
Call the Aeroplan desk to book, they seem to have the best idea of the rules.I just did this yesterday. Called the SE desk and told them I want to do this, wasn't a problem at all. The airport ticketing agent also knew about it after a call to the Aeroplan centre. I would suggest you call another agent and try again. If it fails, send me an email and I could send you a contact at the SE desk who you could speak to. Unfortunately, when I first learned of this benefit, it was a message left on my voicemail and not email so I don't have a hard copy.Empress:
I'm on hold trying as we speak...
I also have another question, do you get another reward ticket @ 140k?.Also just another note - even though the coupon is transferrable, only the original recipient can use their points to upgrade - be it for themselves or a travelling companion... if the person using the coupon did not originally get it from AC they will still be able to use the coupon, however will not be able to upgrade.
SimonCI expect the receive one of these tickets within the next couple of weeks, having just passed 70,000 Q miles. My question about upgrading the ticket -- is this a "unpublished benefit" for SE's? Or can an E upgrade this ticket as well?I also have another question, do you get another reward ticket @ 140k?
Unfortunately, NO.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
