Album-View for all Folder after directory-Position Positon???

  • Hi There!

    Most I use the folder view (for my Music). My Structure is like this:

    Music
    A
    ->%Artist%
    ->%Album%
    ->%Track% %Title%
    B
    ->%Artist%
    ->%Album%
    ->%Track% %Title%
    .
    .
    .
    Z
    ->%Artist%
    ->%Album%
    ->%Track% %Title%

    I want to have a differnt view-modes at positions in my structure.

    Under 'music' I want to see the content in 'list-view-mode' (small thumbs), next I want to see all content under 'Artist' in 'list-view-mode' too. On the point 'Ablbum' in my structure I want to see the content (the albums of the artist) in 'album-view-mode' and under 'Album' I want to the the 'Tracks/Titles' in 'list-view-mode' again....

    I can do this manualy but I have a very big music-base and so I want to have this 'view-structure' automaticly set.

    Understand??? :rofl:

    Is it possible? Any ideas/hitns?? ???

  • Ah...btw: In the actual T3CH Release of XBMC (2008-07-15) I can not switch in library-mode. Is it why the scan has never been completed (till yet)??? I think in an older release the access to the db was possbile although the scan was not completed...

  • you can change that in the skin. the library button gets disabled if the library is empty.
