Very simple chat window

  • I'm trying to put together a very simple chat window, basically you can
    type a string and this is sent to the server, a response from the server
    should then be displayed. I'd like this to be in a floating window (popup)
    and wondering where to start....


  • Look @ the anchor form example and modify to allow a text input text field and a scrollable div. Wire up an Ext.Ajax.Request to the 'enter' key even for the input text field and a 'submit' button. The ajax.request should 'append' the return from the server.
